Safety Speed Mfg. donates machine to WoodLINKS school

HAM LAKE, MN -- Safety Speed Manufacturing donated a vertical panel saw/router valued at more than $6,600 to the technical education program at Somerset High School, a member of WoodLINKS USA.

Tech ed instructor Mark Barron said, “It gives us a lot more options and it's much more safe for beginners.”

Brian Donahue, president of Safety Speed Mfg. and Barron connected through the WoodLINKS USA Project. Donahue said he decided in 2009 that the company would focus more on promoting the wood industry in schools.
