Rockler recalls LED work lights


Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has
recalled about 2,200 LED work lights.


MEDINA, MN –
Rocker Woodworking and Hardware

, working with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling 1,200 LED work lights due to defective wiring that can cause battery packs to overheat and explode, posing a risk of burn and fire hazard to consumers.

No injuries have been reported. Rockler is asking customers who purchased the lights between March 2009 and October 2009 to immediately stop using them and contact the company for a free repair kit and instructions.
