MEDINA, MN -- Rockler Woodworking and Hardware said its contribution to the Hardwood Forestry Fund to plant more than 10,000 trees.
As a special promotion celebrating Earth Day, Rockler pledged to donate the price of one tree for every purchase made on its website between April 20 and 27. The company said it exceeded its goal of 10,000 trees.
The Hardwood Forestry Fund, based in Reston, VA, is dedicated to creating sustainable forestry on suitable public sites using seedling planting, direct seeding, and forest management techniques to promote natural regeneration.
Since its establishment in 1990, the Hardwood Forestry Fund has planted and managed more than 3.5 million million trees in 26 U.S. states and in four foreign countries. Learn more at hardwoodforestryfund.org.
