Rimi Woodcraft equipment auction this week after reported Chapter 11 filing

BRONX, N.Y. – Rimi Woodcraft Corp. is holding an auction of woodworking equipment and supplies this week after reportedly filing for bankruptcy.

The company makes architectural woodwork, doors, high-end residential interiors and custom kitchen cabinets. Rimi employed 100 and was an FDMC 300 company in 2016, ranked 179 on the list of the 300 largest woodworking companies in the United States and Canada. The company has locations in Bronx and Middletown, New York.

Rimi filed a Chapter 11 voluntary petition for non-individual bankruptcy in May, according to PacerMonitor and other online sources.

The auction is being held by Ex-Factory and includes woodworkers benches, scroll saws, dust collection system, spray equipment, clamps and sanders. The auction event closes Monday, September 25. See http://www.exfactoryauctions.com/EventDetail.aspx?id=A091517.1
