Reward upped to $10K for couple accused of murder at furniture plant

HICKORY, N.C. - The reward is now $10,000 for information leading to the arrests of Tangela and Eric Parker, the husband and wife couple on the run after being accused of murder at North Carolina furniture plant TCS Designs.
 
Tangela Parker reportedly shot fellow employee Phelifia Marlow on the job January 13 after a workplace dispute. Parker then allegedly fled the plant with the help of her husband Eric Parker - also an employee.
 
Marlow was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead soon after arrival.

The couple has been on the run since. Tangela is wanted for first degree murder and Eric is wanted for accessory after the fact. Police say they are armed and dangerous.
 
The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for any information that leads to the couple's apprehension. A $5,000 reward was originally offered. That has now been increased to $10,000.
 
Employees told local news that they heard two shots and the plant was soon placed under lockdown. 
 
The victim's husband, Justin Marlow, told Channel 9 that Parker and his wife had gotten into a dispute over some tables the week prior to the shooting. Marlow said Parker had been sent home for three days following the dispute and had returned the week of.
 

Marlow's family is offering their own reward of $1,000, reports WSOCTV News.

Police say Tangela's cellphone was found 40 miles away. The couple's neighbors say no one has been at the house since the incident.
