SPOKANE, WA - Potlatch Corp. has reportedly sold its Post Falls, ID, particleboard plant to a former sawmill operator.
According to the Spokesman, the plant is being purchased by Todd Brinkmeyer, who sold a sawmill in Plummer, ID, in 2006.
The particleboard mill employs approximately 25 people.
Potlatch reportedly decided to sell the small-scale plant because it does not factor into its strategic plans tied to forestlands and lumber production.
