Pella updates wood warranty to match fiberglass and vinyl

PELLA, Ia. — Pella Corporation says it is now offering the best limited lifetime warranty for wood windows and patio doors when compared to the written limited warranties of leading national wood window and wood patio door brands.

“We’ve helped lessen some of the apprehension customers can feel when purchasing wood windows and wood patio doors and simplified the warranty process by aligning this new warranty more closely with our other products, including vinyl and fiberglass,” said Matt Kiernan, director of innovation for Pella. “The new warranty on Pella’s wood windows and wood patio doors is a testament to the exceptional details, and craftsmanship customers expect from Pella and our products.”

The new warranty offers lifetime coverage on various components of their newly installed products for as long as they own and occupy their home. The components include:

  • Wood deterioration
  •  Exterior aluminum cladding paint crack or peel in non-seacoast environments
  •  Nonlaminated insulating glass
