BESSEMER CITY, N.C. — Precision Drive Systems, a provider of spindle motors, support and spindle repair, has announced the promotion of Calvin Stiles to national sales manager.

Stiles’ previous title was market development manager. In his new capacity, he will oversee the company’s North American marketing program, marketing analyses, strategic planning and coordination of sales efforts.

“Calvin possesses a tremendous breadth of knowledge regarding machining, processing and application projects,” said Bob Barone, vice president of Precision Drive Systems. “He understands how unique PDS’s capabilities are in the marketplace and how best to leverage those assets in the company’s messaging strategy.”

Stiles began his career in 1999 as an operations supervisor for Holzma U.S., then a division of Stiles Machinery, Inc. He first joined Precision Drive Systems in 2015 as an Inside Sales and Marketing Manager.
