Mayer, a manufacturer of beam/panel saws and special application saws, has joined the Felder Group from Austria. Both companies are still family owned and operated, and have been in business for more than 60 years.

Over the next year the Felder Group will establish new systems and procedures to support Mayer customers all over the world.

"In the USA especially we have many happy Mayer machine owners and we want to help them by taking that experience to the next level,” Felder Group USA CEO Ruan du Toit, said.

“It will take time but we will start increasing our service network for the Mayer machinery and also look into stocking more spares and parts in the USA. This has been a problem over the years but with time and some serious effort from our side we will put service in place that Mayer customers can trust.”

"The timing is planned in the USA to have this work completed by middle of the year 2020 with the relaunch of the Mayer machines in the U.S. at the IWF show 2020.

“Until then we will do our best to service and support the U.S. customers during this transition period. Currently, service and support is still available from Joos USA and we thank them for carrying the Mayer banner for these last years."
