BANGALORE, INDIA – The sixth edition of Indiawood attracted 23,364 visitors, according to PDA Trade Fairs, which organized the biennial event in tandem with Eumabois, the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers.
The event, held March 4-8, reportedly had 468 exhibiting companies from 29 countries. Most of the attendance came from India, South Asia, South-East Asia and the Gulf region.
Indiawood 2010 featured country pavilions from Germany, Italy, Taiwan, the United States and others.
The next major event for the woodworking industry in India will be Delhiwood, Feb.17–20, 2011, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
