GEORGETOWN, Ontario -- Olon Industries and Licar spa in Pordenone, Italy, have announced the formation of a joint venture company called OL Frontal Solutions, LLC. The joint venture will operate from Olon’s Jeffersonville, Indiana, plant and focus on manufacturing high volume, fully assembled five-piece cabinet doors and drawer fronts for major customers in North America. 

OL Frontal Solutions will bring to the United States Licar’s European designs and manufacturing technology to complement Olon’s North American design and manufacturing profile-wrapped mouldings and components for the cabinet market. Production will begin in early 2019.
 
It is expected the partnership will provide benefits for Licar’s existing U.S.-based customers including reduced lead times, lower inventory levels, improved logistics and reduced currency risk. For Olon’s customers, the partnership will provide the opportunity to complement existing door programs with high volume products from a new state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes.
