HOLLY SPRINGS, NC - To help boost Facebook followers, OFM, a manufacturer and distributor of office and school furniture, and stapler maker Swingline, have joined together to cosponsor the tongue-in-cheek Hands Off My Stapler Contest.

The Hands Off My Stapler Contest seeks creative methods office workers use to safeguard their stapler, such as making a chain out rubber bands and paper clips. "We know that many office workers to to great lengths to protect their stapler and we can't wait to see how far some people actually go," said Blake Zalcberg, CEO of OFM.

Entrants must email a jpeg formatted-photo and brief written description to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. Sept. 30. Contestants must also "like" OFM and Swingline on Facebook to be eligible to win.

Prizes include:
* First Place - an OFM desk of the winner's choice and a red Swingline stapler.

* Second Place - a Swingline Stack-and-Shred hands-free shredder and a red Swingline stapler.

* Third Place - a red Swingline stapler.
