Paul Oertli, CEO of the Swiss-based Oertli Werkzeuge AG, has been named the new president of Eumabois Toolgroup.

He succeeds to Franco Paviotti, CEO of Metalworld, Italy, who served for eight years.

Eumabois Toolgroup represents the interests of woodworking precision tools manufacturers within the European federation of woodworking machinery manufacturers, Eumabois.

“I am very excited about this new task. European machine tools manufacturers are going to face tough challenges in the coming years, including the current rally of raw material prices and growing competition from Asia. A hearty thank you to my predecessor, especially for his commitment to standardization,” Oertli said.
