CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – NewStar Adhesives has moved to a new manufacturing facility located in Cartersville, Georgia. The 30,000-square-foot facility includes state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities for its line of specialty adhesives. The company said the new plant is capable of producing high-quality industrial grade adhesives in a wide range of sizes from aerosol spray cans to 300-pound pressurized canisters, and from 1-gallon cans to 55-gallon drums.

NewStar said the plant is designed to be scalable to meet the company's growth needs for years to come. "After last year's pandemic-induced pause, NewStar is back on its double-digit growth track," said Leonard Gilman, vice president of Sales. "This growth is driven by new product and new market initiatives mainly in North America."  Gilman added he expects the company to grow more than 20 percent above its pre-pandemic levels in 2021.

Since opening, 100 percent of NewStar's orders have shipped within five days with returns at less than 2/10ths of 1 percent, the company noted.

NewStar Adhesives Inc. is a privately owned manufacturer and marketer of specialty adhesives to the HPL, woodworking, MH/RV, HVAC and marine construction industries.  The new facility is located at 66 Gilreath Road SE, Cartersville, Georgia 30121.
