Treefrog Open includes eight new prefinished real wood veneer laminates in neutrals in white oak and gray oak, as well as several shades of popular walnut, and will be shown at Booth #2100 at IWF.

Many of these new veneer laminates feature Treefrog’s “groove” surface, a deeper and more authentic texture. Treefrog Open offers several distinctive fine grain wood looks as well as new, wider planked veneers.

“To select new materials, we created a matrix of our entire Treefrog collection, and filled in areas where we saw trends happening,” said Treefrog creative director and president Geoff Schaefer.

The company also partnered with laminate and interior design material icon Hans Mutzke to create the collection. “Hans has so much insight into color, trends and the market, his experience has been immeasurably helpful in creating this launch,” said Schaefer.

Treefrog veneers are intended to provide a consistent and reliable selection for larger design spaces and multi-location projects like retail stores, restaurant chains, hospitality spaces, cabinetry and anyplace where consistency in appearance is important.

Treefrog’s process uses faster growing, and more commonly occurring tree species to create the look of more exotic and sometimes endangered tree species without having to harvest those trees.

Treefrog is made in Italy, and is manufactured to European workplace and environmental standards. It’s stocked in the U.S. by Treefrog and available through their nationwide distributor network.

All wood used is of certified origin, and FSC custom options are available. Sizes are 4 x 10 feet. See http://treefrogveneer.com.
