LONG BEACH, CA â
Educational programs specially developed to help professional custom cabinetmakers pull their businesses out of the economic doldrums will be featured at the 6th annual Closets & Home Organization Conference & Expoâ¢, Feb. 10-12.
The all-new Custom Cabinet Conference brings together the collective talents and experiences of the Cabinet Makers Assn. and Custom Woodworking Business magazine. Executives of CMA-member companies will share their real-world knowledge of improving the efficiencies of their companies from drumming up new business and cost estimating through manufacturing and installation.
âIâm pleased to see the CMA partner with CWB for the Custom Cabinet Conference,â said Dave Grulke, newly installed executive director of the CMA. âWhat better combination than to head to Southern California in February to attend some informative and entertaining seminars that can help your business and to network with industry experts and peers from around the country? The combination is a proven winner for anyone who has attended such an event before and the current planned program promises even more.â
âWe are extremely happy to work with the CMA on the new Custom Cabinet Conference,â said Rich Christianson, associate publisher of CWB, CLOSETS and Wood & Wood Products. âCMA members share our commitment to provide high-quality education that can help owners and managers of small- and mid-size wood products companies find ways to improve their businesses. No doubt, more business owners are looking for new wrinkles to help right the ship and be on the ready to benefit when the economy improves.â
âWeâre all looking for an edge to make it through these difficult times,â said Sean Benetin, president of the CMA. âOur association is dedicated to serving as a networking forum and sharing information that can help custom cabinetmakers and woodworkers succeed. We look at the Custom Cabinet Conference as a golden opportunity to prove that.â
