BIELEFELD, GERMANY — ZOW trade fair organizer Survey GmbH & Co. KG has announced a commercial partnership with exhibition organizer Clarion Events Ltd. The London-based company is taking over the three German trade fairs organized by Survey — Focus Küche & Bad, FMB Zuliefermesse Maschinenbau and the annual ZOW supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design.
The new company, which will organize and be responsible for future trade fairs in Germany, is called Clarion Survey GmbH. Peter H. Meyer, the founder of ZOW, will continue in his role as managing director in the new joint company and remains a partner, holding a significant share in the company, while Clarion Events is the majority shareholder. As an immediate effect of this agreement, an increased capital base is being made available to the unchanged team of staff. The company, which is focusing on the market in Germany, will not change the appearance or character of the trade fair.
