WISE COUNTY, VA – Pinnacle Wood Products of Virginia Inc. plans to open a plant to manufacture cabinets, thermofoil doors, closets and garage systems in southwest Virginia.
The reported $1.4 million investment will create 200 jobs, according to the Times News.
Pinnacle Wood Products is headed by Raymond Whitt. The new company will receive $200,000 in Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds to support the project. In addition, the Virginia Economic Development Partnership approved a $1.2 million loan to the Wise County Development Authority to purchase equipment and machinery for the start-up plant. The WCDA will lease the equipment to Pinnacle Wood Products.
