ATLANTA - MLW Chairs announced the expansion of its wood seating plant in Vietnam, doubling its current size. The expansion will primarily focus on finishing and upholstery as MLW Chairs expands its product mix to include 'turn-key chairs in a box' for the trade to complement its component business.

In the expansion, which has commenced, MLW says it plans for the factory to be in full operation within the next four months.

"MLW chose to make the commitment to start our own wood factory in Vietnam so we could provide more diversity while maintaining our exacting quality standards," the company said in a statement. "The factory is producing residential, hospitality and contract seating frames. Design is changing all of the time. The factory adds further freedom for customers regarding samples and MOQ’s (minimum order quantity)."

MLW Chairs has expanded over the past 15 years into the contract industry leveraging its expertise in quality frame building. It produces products for the contract, hotel, and healthcare industries including chairs, ottomans, benches, sofas, chaise lounges, casegoods, occasional tables, nightstands, dressers, and metal furniture.  www.mlwchairs.com.
