CHOPIN, LA -- Roy O. Martin Lumber Co. is constructing a second plywood facility in Rapides Parish that is expected to create 130 new jobs upon completion by January. The $60 million, 220,000-square-foot plant is being built next to an existing 375,000-square-foot plant. The new plant will boost capacity by about 33%.
