Lumber Scam, Wood-Coal Bio-fuel Top Stories A lumber scam that ran on for years at American Woodmark continues to have its days in court. Since the December 1 report below, the judge gave plaintiffs, St. Paul Marine & Fire Insurance, until mid-December to show that the Federal Court has jursdiction over the case.

Also topping the week's news: Torrified wood pellet fuel that look is pre-cooked to eliminate moisture, converting the wood cells in a way that makes the pellets look and burn like coal.
