Trends and developments in lightweight construction will be in evidence at ZOW, Feb. 14-17, 2011.
One of the more intriguing examples that will be showcased is an ultra-lightweight âglassâ camper âCross-Over 2â, that will be displayed by Vöhringer GmbH.
The 165-inch-long, 1,980-pound prototype features a multitude of innovative ideas. for example, it has a heavy-duty, non-rotting supporting structure made of reinforced polyurethane. Special connectors allow it to be mounted easily and permanently with only a few hammer blows. In addition, within seconds, the "Cross-Over 2" turns from a narrow gauge trailer into a spacious temporary residence. A double bed can be folded into the living area. Innovative design creates ultra compact functional areas, such as the kitchen area and the creation of useful storage space by making use of the smallest corners.
On the lightweight panel side, attendees will see new product solutions from Axxor, Döllken, Jowat, Hettich, Moralt, Swap and Torwegge.
