Last call for the Wood Industry 40 Under 40,  honoring the next generation of industry professionals destined to make an impact on wood products manufacturing in North America. The deadline for nominations is June 8.

An annual award program, the Wood Industry 40 Under 40 recognizes the achievements of 40 professionals, under 40, in the categories of: productivity, profitability, social good (locally or globally), ingenuity, innovation, peer inspiration, product development, organizational leadership, or other areas. Persons in all job levels, in all facets of the woodworking industry, are eligible to enter. The nomination process is free, and closes June 8; go to bit.ly/submitunder40 to submit.

You can nominate a colleague, friend, or yourself. Candidates must be involved professionally in the woodworking industry and be age 40 or younger by Dec. 31, 2020, to qualify. Past honorees include those involved in the cabinet, residential furniture, contract/office furniture, closets/home organization, architectural woodwork, retail fixtures, and wood components markets, as well as research, education, and industry organizations. Honorees of the fifth annual 40 Under 40 will be selected by Woodworking Network editors and recognized online and in FDMC's October issue.  Honorees and alumni attending IWF 2020 in Atlanta are also invited to the Woodworking Network Leadership Awards Ceremony on Aug. 24 at the Georgia World Congress Center.  A special LinkedIn group, Wood Industry 40 Under 40, has also been set up for current honorees and all alumni to network.
