IRVINE, Calif. -- Laguna Tools is expanding its line of professional-level industrial woodworking machinery.

More than a decade ago, Laguna expanded their product line to include a CNC division, which itself has expanded into include CO2 lasers, fiber lasers and plasma machines.

Around this same time, Laguna also created a wholesale network and developed an entire line that was designed specifically for the high-end hobbyist and light industrial market. Today, Laguna machines can be found at over 400 dealers all over the world.

Rick Kerrigan, Laguna’s Industrial Division sales manager, said, “Listening to our customers’ demand for an even broader line of professional industrial machines, we have created a new division that will focus specifically on the development of these products.”

“We have already brought back a few machines that were mostly dormant for the past couple of years, including our RPM5 Raised Panel Master door machine, our DT18 Auto Dovetail machine and our Straight Line Rip Saw,” Kerrigan said.

“We have also brought back, and expanded, our Horizontal Band Resaw line. Again, when we sold these direct only we moved quite a few. Haven't really been able to move any through our dealer network. We plan to sell a lot of these as the price point is under $10K. The big one sells for around $30K."

Laguna is also designing a more portable version that will be like a sawmill. And they are designing another model horizontal that will be even more automatic. Another new machine they have available is an end matcher.

Kerrigan said that they have also lowered the price of every industrial machine in their line, and has created an online ordering system with affordable flat rate shipping. See https://lagunatools.com/industrial/
