KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Woodstream Hardwoods & Building Specialties, part of the Knoxville, Tennessee, business community since 1975, is closing its doors as the owners shift their focus to new business ventures.

For nearly fifty years, Woodstream Hardwoods has been a supplier of high-quality hardwood lumber, flooring, interior woodwork, custom furniture, wood slabs, accent walls, and mantels, serving customers across the United States with a special focus on East Tennessee.

The company is now liquidating its inventory and machinery and selling the lumberyard.

"We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers for their support over the years," said the owners. "As we move on to new opportunities, we are committed to giving back to the community that has supported us." Part of the proceeds from the liquidation will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Tennessee and the Emerald Youth Foundation.

Woodstream Hardwoods & Building Specialties has been dedicated to hardwood products and services, enriching homes and businesses with quality craftsmanship. It was founded in 1975 by Jim McNutt and later taken over by his son, Nick McNutt.
