CHARLES CITY, Va. - A kitchen cabinetry plant in Charles City, Virginia is being auctioned today, with late model membrane presses and machining centers for sale.

The former U.S. Remodelers plant, U.S. Remodelers Inc. designs, manufactures or procures, sells, and installs custom kitchen cabinet refacing products. Equipment is being auctioned by IRS Auctions with bidding closing June 26 at 1:30 p.m. eastern. A Homag BOF-211 Profi-Line flat table CNC router with C-Axis and ATC installed in 2010 is typical of the extensive offerings.

Closure of the 66-employee U.S. Remodelers plant, a unit of The Home Depot, was announced in December 2016 in a State of Virginia WARN notice.  The same report includes the Elkay Wood Products plant in Ringold, Virginia.
