K&B Furniture buys New Jersey manufacturing plant for $10.6 million

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - High-end residential furniture maker K&B Furniture has purchased a new manufacturing plant from real estate firm Binswanger for $10.6 million.
 
With 201,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 4,000 square feet of office, Binswanger says the building features reinforced concrete slab floors, concrete block and corrugated steel exterior walls, and 28' to 32' clear ceilings. The building also features 24 loading docks and four drive-in doors. 
 
K&B, headquartered in Bronx, New York, makes bedroom, dining room, and living room furniture. This appears to be the company's first manufacturng plant in the U.S., as it primarily imports furniture from Asia.
