Kaeser Announces Energy Star Partnership

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – Kaeser Compressors recently entered into a partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star program. The program is aimed at helping reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Kaeser said it plans to leverage its partnership with Energy Star “to communicate the importance of energy management to the industrial marketplace and increase the national statistics for energy savings in the coming years.”

The current expansion of Kaeser’s U.S. headquarters includes a thermoplastic olefin roof to reflect sunlight. The design also includes an efficient underfloor-air-distribution system and daylighting. The result is less energy required to heat, cool and illuminate the building. In addition, the company already has recycling and conservation programs in place for batteries, cellular phones, computer equipment, electricity and more.Read more.
