ATLANTA -- The 2010 International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair USA opened its doors to a steadily building stream of attendees on Wednesday.
By mid-afternoon, the majority of exhibitors Woodworking Network spoke with said they were mainly satisfied with the number of visitors who had stopped by their booths on the first day and anticipated that Thursday and Friday would be far better.
The show features more than 950 booths and runs through Saturday, August 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Top among the highlights Monday was the announcement of the seven winners of the 2010 Challengers Awards.
This followed up a Tuesday night celebration honoring top student furniture designers in the IWF Design Emphasis competition.
