ATLANTA -- The Home Depot, a home improvement retailer, reported on Aug. 15 second quarter net earnings of $1.86 billion, up 9.8% compared to the same period in fiscal 2005. The company reported sales of $26 billion for the second quarter of fiscal 2006, an increase of 16.7% over the same period in fiscal 2005. Read more.
