Hitachi Power Tools said it is offering a lifetime warranty on all of its Lithium ion cordless tools.
The company said its Lifetime Lithium Ion tool warranty is retroactive and applies to Lithium Ion tools purchased since their initial launch in August of 2006. Qualifying customers who purchased products before the announcement will automatically be covered and are not required to register or re-register their tools.
Some exceptions do apply: Cordless Lithium Ion Grinders, Cordless Lithium Ion Rotary Hammers and Cordless Lithium Ion Gas Nailers are still covered by Hitachiâs 1-year warranty.
