ROCHESTER, N.Y. - High end furniture maker and custom millwork firm Arbr Studios will invest $1.3 million in a new 40,000-square-foot production facility.

Founded in 2012 as Zeller Woodworks, the New York-based company has a wide repertoire - building custom residential cabinets, closets, vanities, benches, credenzas, tables, ottomans, and casegoods. Arbr has served clients from around the world. The company also runs Icon Design, which manufactures the legendary Wendell Castle furniture collection.

Arbr received $400,000 in tax credits from the state for the expansion, as long as it creates at least 26 new jobs. Monroe County provided additional financial assistance.
