After 8 years at the helm, Burgess is stepping down as president/CEO at year's end.

Hettich America's president and chief executive officer Tommy Burgess announced that he is leaving the company at the end of the year. A successor has not been named.

"After much consideration, I have decided to leave Hettich," said Burgess. "It has been a wonderful journey working with each of you, and I am truly grateful for the trust and support you have shown me over the years during my time here."

Burgess was appointed president in 2016. Before that appointment, Burgess led Hettich's product development and engineering department for seven years, then acted as vice president of its sales team for one year.
