PITTSBURGH -- The Board of Directors of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association elected Bob Miller, Frank Miller Lumber Co., Indiana, Union City, Indiana, president of the HMA at their National Conference and Expo in Greenville, South Carolina.

Other HMA officers for 2018 are vice president Troy Brown, Kretz Lumber Co., Inc., Antigo, Wisconsin; and executive vice president Linda Jovanovich, HMA, Pittsburgh.

HMA Board of Directors also elected members to the Executive Committee. In addition to the officers, they are: Hal Mitchell, Atlanta Hardwood Corp., Mableton, Georgia; Jason Ayer, Cersosimo Lumber Co., Inc., Brattleboro, Vermont; Tommy Petzoldt, East Perry Lumber Co., Frohna, Missouri; Brian Schilling, Pike Lumber Co., Inc., Akron, Indiana; T. J. Rosengarth, Northwest Hardwoods, Inc., Tacoma, Washington; and past president Richard Wilkerson, Anderson-Tully Co., Vicksburg, Mississippi.

The membership elected HMA Directors at the National Conference. They are: Hal Mitchell, Atlanta Hardwood Corp., Mableton, Georgia; Norm Steffy, Cummings Lumber Co., Inc., Troy, Pennsylvania.; Brian Schilling, Pike Lumber Co., Inc., Akron, Indiana; Steve Jones, Ron Jones Hardwood Sales, Inc., Union City, Pennsylvania; Gus Welter, Welter Forest Products, Inc., Marathon City, Wisconsin.

New members appointed to the HMA NextGen Leaders Council, formerly known as the HMA Millennial Council, are Geoff Henderson, Anderson-Tully Co., Vicksburg, Mississippi; Zack Rickman, Atlanta Hardwood Corp., Mableton, Georgia; Tyler Johnston, Frank Miller Lumber Co., Inc., Union City, Indiana; Kelsey Tuck, Gates Milling, Inc., Gatesville, North Carolina; Richard Buchanan, Granite Hardwoods, Inc., Granite Falls, North Carolina; Logan Josey, Josey Lumber Co., Inc., Scotland Neck, North Carolina; Jason Dallas, Stella-Jones Corp., Pittsburgh; and as Council Coordinator, Claire Thompson Getty, Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods, Inc., Huntland, Tennessee.

The Hardwood Manufacturers Association is a national trade organization with membership limited to U.S. hardwood lumber producers and processors.
