Grass America appoints Matthias Bulla new president

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -  Grass America has appointed Matthias Bulla as its new president effective Jan. 1. Bulla, who served as executive vice president at the leading cabinet hardware supplier, succeeds Tom Kipp, who has held the position since February 2013.

During Kipp's nearly 12-year tenure, the company experienced substantial expansion of its North Carolina operations, including increased manufacturing capacity and a broadened product portfolio. The company noted, "Kipp's strategic vision and hands-on approach were instrumental in optimizing operations, driving efficiency, and fostering an environment of excellence throughout the organization."

To ensure a seamless transition, Kipp will continue to work with Grass America in an advisory capacity over the coming months.

Bulla brings more than three decades of global experience within the Grass Group and Würth Group to his new role. Since joining Grass Austria as a trainee in 1991, his career includes establishing new ventures in Malaysia and Austria. As executive vice president of Grass America, he oversaw sales and marketing functions for both North and South America. In his new role as president, Bulla will leverage his extensive industry knowledge and strategic acumen to drive Grass America's next phase of growth and innovation, the company said.

Headquartered in Kernersville, North Carolina, Grass America manufactures hinges, drawer slides, lifters, and drawer systems. The company's first-class movement systems keep America’s kitchens, baths, and office facilities operating at their best. The company sells its functional hardware and accessories throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico via 130 distributor locations and to most of the leading kitchen cabinet manufacturers.
