German woodworking machinery sales drop 42% in 2009
German manufacturers of wood processing machinery faced a 42% drop in revenues in 2009, according to EUWID.

EUWID reported that the German Association of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (VDMA) called 2009 the worst year in decades. Domestic sales reportedly dropped by 34%, while exports declined 44%.
