Furniture rental firm gets a 69 percent boost with new website
Cort leases out furniture

Furniture rental company Cort says its new website has increased its purchase volume by 69 percent.

Cort says that since the site's launch two weeks ago, conversion rate has climbed 37 percent and traffic from organic search has risen 30 percent.

The company says it's the nation's largest furniture rental provider. It operates 156 showrooms across the U.S.

On the newly upgraded site, customers enter their zip code and say how long they need their furniture.

The site's algorithm will then show furniture nearest to them and place it into three categories - new, used, and bargain. Bargain furniture has noticeable defects and is priced the lowest.
