Furniture maker EJ Victor announces executive changes

MORGANTON, N.C. – Luxury furniture manufacturer EJ Victor announced a number of changes at its executive level. Effective immediately, current CFO David Bennett takes over the privately held company as president and CEO. John H. Jokinen, current director of Sales, will also take on the role of senior vice president of the Morganton, North Carolina-based company.

John V. Jokinen, co-founder, president, and CEO, will move to the role of Board chairman and the newly created position of Chief Creative Officer.

“For the past 31 years, our company has been blessed with craftsmen dedicated to making top quality products for our retail, trade, and licensing partners,” Jokinen said. “Our newly appointed leadership team will continue to focus on domestic production of upholstery and casegoods made in our Morganton, NC, plant. Founded in 1990, EJ Victor produces furniture under its own brand and is a licensing partner to global lifestyle brands including ED Ellen DeGeneres and Alfredo Paredes.
