PARKERSBURG, WVâ Mike and Teresa Scanlan of Park City, UT, have been named the grand prize winners of the Freud/Woodcraft âCreative Glass Panelâ competition.
The prize, valued at $10,500, includes a trip to Italy and $1,000 worth of Freud products.
âCreative Glass Panelâ contestants were required to build a project using extended tenons and glass panels. Entries were accepted from Aug. 1-Dec. 31, 2010. The Scanlans winning entry, âGreene and Greene Meets Scanlan and Scanlan,â was a glass flower panel with a Greene and Greene style mahogany frame.
Other top winners and prizes are: second place, Anthony and Courtney Hodges of Singers Glen, VA (âWine Theme Glass Panelâ), a package of Freud products worth $1,000; and third place, Clint and Lacey Loumaster of Lenexa, KS (âSpring Flowersâ), Freud products worth $200.
