LEBANON, Penn. - It took 1.5 million gallons of water to douse the four-alarm fire at Weaber Lumber, news sources report. An estimated three dozen fire departments helped fight the blaze, which broke out about midnight Saturday night.

The fire began in a 50-foot by 150-foot dry kiln located in the rear of the facility,  Lawn Fire Chief Daniel Braden told the local news. Weaber Lumber's large capacity kilns are capable of processing 2.5 million board feet of lumber during each drying schedule, according to the company's website. Founded in 1941, Weaber produces mouldings, stair parts, S4S boards, unfinished flooring and Weathered Wall Board.

No serious injuries were reported at the Lebanon Pennsylvania-based hardwoods company.
