HOQUIAM, Wa. – A cedar furniture making shop was burnt to the ground in Hoquiam, Washington.

The fire was reported at around 4:30 am, says the Daily World. When Cedar Furniture by Best owner Terry Kost arrived for work he found firefighters combating the blaze, which had already engulfed the entire building.

The blaze is believed to have originated in the back of the building, which Kost says was vacant. Kost says there were no accelerants in that part of the building. Nobody was in the building at the time of the fire and no inventory was lost.

The building, equipment, and forklifts were all completely destroyed, reported the Daily World.

An investigation into what caused the fire began Wednesday at noon.

Cedar Furniture by Best produced outdoor cedar furniture, including benches, chairs, tables, planter boxes and archways at the facility.
