FALCONER, NY - Fancher Chair Co. has selected Universal Steel Buildings to supply and construct a 9,600-square-foot building to expand the existing warehouse capacity and allow for future production growth at the 125,000-square-foot chair manufacturing facility.
A sustainable manufacturer, the 205-year-old Fancher Chair recorded 34.7 percent sales growth last year, due in part to the company's willingness to invest in capital expenditures to improve its productivity and profitability, according to President Pete Scheira. The Falconer, NY-based Fancher Chair's success strategy for manufacturing its Queen Anne, Chippendale, Mission and other styles of furniture is cited in the 2012 WOOD 100.
