DALLAS - A new career and technical education center is nearly complete at Dallas High School.

The 13,000-square-foot building will house a woodshop, metal shop, and two classrooms - with a capacity for around 40 students. The center will replace an outdated building at the school.

The project cost around $3 million. Classes will begin at the start of the next school year.
