Police are reportedly investigating an Illinois kitchen and bath remodeling contractor after customers complained about incomplete jobs.

A report on WGN-TV in Chicago said that Express Kitchen and Bath in Will County, Illinois, had accepted customer cash but did poor work or did not complete projects.

The television report also showed a picket line outside the business – made up of customers who were complaining about incomplete and subpar remodeling work.

Will County Sheriff’s office and Shorewood Police are reported to be investigating the business.

One customer reportedly paid $17,000 with an additional $6,000 due on completion, but they said there were problems with workmanship.

Top Notch Counters LLC is operating at the same Frankfort, Illinois, address, offering custom granite and quartz countertops, along with kitchen and bathroom remodeling.

William Vranicar is listed as president of this business.
