CULPEPER, Va. – Culpeper Wood Preservers, manufacturers of pressure-treated lumber, has acquired a facility in Sweetwater, Tenn.
With this purchase, Culpeper Wood Preservers now has 14 locations.
“We are very excited with this acquisition. The plant in Tennessee complements our current operations and further expands our footprint in the southeastern US markets. This strategic addition to our company will provide greater value to our current customers, as well as expand our capacity and geographic reach,” said Jonathan Jenkins, president.

In 1976, Culpeper Wood Preservers sprouted from a single location in Culpeper. Today, the company is a leading manufacturer of pressure-treated products to the residential, commercial, industrial and marine markets and employs more than 600 dedicated people. Culpeper Wood brand name products are sold exclusively through lumber dealers throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Mid-West and Southeast.
