Culpeper Wood Preservers acquires Mass. treating plant

CULPEPER, Va. -- Culpeper Wood Preservers, a manufacturer of pressure treated lumber, has announced their most recent acquisition in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The new location will be named Culpeper Wood of New England. With the acquisition, Culpeper Wood Preservers now has 10 treating plants and one column manufacturing facility. Distribution coverage now stretches from Georgia to Chicago to Maine, including all or parts of 23 states.

“We are excited about this opportunity and strategic addition to our company. We will have access to new markets and further expand our footprint in the northeast,” said Jonathan Jenkins, president for Culpeper Wood Preservers. “As we head into our 45th year, we will continue to build our business on the partnerships we have forged with both our vendors and customers.”
