PETALUMA, Calif. -- Castle USA has named Chris Waller as product manager. He will be managing development, sales and service for the CSI 1.5D pocket cutter/screw inserter machine.

The CSI 1.5D cuts Castle’s low-angle screw pocket, drills a low-angle pilot hole and inserts a flush screw - all in 1.5 seconds. CSI 1.5D provides stackable parts in faster production times by eliminating screw handling at assembly. 

“Castle has an outstanding and well-deserved reputation for making great products, so I’m thrilled to join the team here,” said Waller. “The CSI 1.5D is a game-changer for any manufacturer who does high-capacity joinery and I’m looking forward to assisting our existing CSI customers and increasing the market awareness of the CSI overall.”

Waller comes to Castle from Tigerstop, where he was regional sales manager. Waller’s initial focal point will be on launching Castle’s new “Try it First” CSI 1.5D initiative. Customers will now be able to try the CSI 1.5D for two months without having to pay for the machine.
