Cabinetry Growth, High Seas Hardwood Were Most Viewed Cabinetry firms reported steady growth, some aggressively expanding like Northern Contours, whose announcement of hiring plans was the most view story this week at Woodworking Network.

And the two home improvement giants had opposite resuls: Lowe's Companies, Inc. (NYSE: LOW) net earnings fell 44.3 percent to $225 million for the third quarter, while its larger rival The Home Depot sales rose 12 percent to $934 million.
