ST. PETERS, Mou. — The owner and manager of Affordable Kitchens and Baths, a cabinet store based in St. Peters, have been charged in connection with a fraud case involving at least 10 victims who police alleged conned the clients out of more than $200 thousand dollars.

The St. Peters Police Department in Missouri identified the suspects as Britney Callier, 55, owner of the remodeling company, and Lonnie Walker, 54, manager of the company. Both men were currently charged with 10 counts of felony stealing.

According to the police department, investigators, who have been actively working the case for over a month, revealed that Walker and Callier accepted payments for work that was never completed. Customers reported that phone calls went unanswered, and the business is now closed. One victim stated they paid over $29,000 on October 1, 2024, to Callier for a bathroom remodel, but no work was performed, and all communications ceased shortly afterward.

Further investigation found that the business is no longer operational, and the building is potentially listed for sale.

To date, ten victims have been identified.

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges in this case with a $50,000 cash-only bond. Both Walker and Callier are not currently in custody.
