RESTON, VA - Cabinet sales for April 2010 increased 1.2% compared to April 2009, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer Association.’s monthly Trend of Business Survey.
This represented the first time since November 2006 that a month’s total cabinet sales experienced a year-over-year increase. Prior to November 2006, the industry had experienced 127 months of consecutive sales growth.
Semi-custom sales increased 7.5%, while stock cabinet sales decreased 2.2% and custom sales decreased 10.2%, according to KCMA.
